I believe that

Everything starts with us. Think it through and do it yourself first — and towards yourself first.
Every project starts with people. It is people, and the values they hold, that form the fabric of a project and the direction it grows in.
The person, and the unlocking of their potential, is my first concern. The moment we subordinate it to some external goal, we have put that goal above the person.
Focus on unlocking human potential and you are doing something valuable in itself. Everything else — the opportunities, the results — arrives as a remarkable bonus.

I believe that

Leaders are people who hold a vision and create something of value for themselves and for those around them. Leaders make the world better.
Leadership is universal and has nothing to do with titles or roles. Anyone can live out a mission and values. Strong projects are started by a leader or a team — and they always grow through a team in which every key member is a leader.
Projects built on a real, living mission, values and vision have meaning. They also have the potential to be far more resilient and far more effective than those chasing material goals alone.
