Privacy Notice

Version 1.0, 8 September 2026. This notice covers victorwr1ght.com. The Russian-language site victorwr1ght.ru has its own documents, which are the binding versions under Russian law.

1. Who is responsible

I run this site personally. There is no company behind it and no marketing department — the person reading your request is the same person who wrote this page.

2. What this site collects

Only what you type into the audit request form: your name, the contact channel you pick and the contact itself (messenger, social network, email or phone), your role in the project, a description of the project or niche, revenue figures if you choose to give them, and the text of your request.

Nothing else. This site has no analytics, no advertising tags and no third-party trackers. It does not profile you and does not build an advertising audience from your visit.

Your browser stores two things locally, on your own device: your light or dark theme choice, and — on the Russian site only — whether you dismissed its cookie notice. These never leave your browser and are not sent to me.

3. Where your data goes, and where it does not

This site is served from a machine in Helsinki, Finland. That machine holds the pages and the English texts. It does not hold your personal data:

  • the request form does not save anything locally — it sends your request directly to my system in the Russian Federation, where it is stored;
  • the server logs on the Finnish machine deliberately do not record IP addresses: they keep only the request path, the response code and the size.

So the answer to "where is my data" is: in Russia, in a database run by me.

4. Why I process it, and on what basis

Purpose: to read your request, reply to you through the channel you chose, discuss whether I can help, and — if we agree to work together — to prepare and perform the contract.

Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box under the form, and the steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. You can withdraw consent at any time (see §6). Under Russian law consent is required in any case, and that is what the tick box records: the date, and which version of these documents you agreed to.

5. Transfer to Russia — read this part

Your data is transferred to and stored in the Russian Federation. You should know what that means:

  • the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision for Russia. Data protection there is not recognised as equivalent to the EU standard;
  • Russian authorities may have powers of access to data held in Russia that differ from those you are used to in the EU or the UK;
  • there is no EU-based intermediary in between: I am the only person handling your request, and I am in Russia.

By submitting the form you consent to this transfer with that risk in mind. If you would rather not send personal data to Russia, write to me at [email protected] instead — a plain email works just as well as the form, and you decide what to put in it.

6. Who else sees it

Nobody buys, rents or receives your data for their own purposes. It is used to answer you.

For my own working notifications I use a messenger and a task planner whose servers may sit outside Russia. They receive only a limited pseudonymous set: your first name without surname, an internal record number and a link to the record. Your contact details, your project and revenue figures and the text of your request are not sent there.

The hosting provider of the Russian system processes data on my instructions, under a contract, and only to keep the service running.

7. How long I keep it

I keep your request while we are in contact about it, and for up to 12 months after our last exchange, so that I can pick up a conversation you may return to. After that it is deleted. If we sign a contract, the documents connected with it are kept for as long as Russian accounting and tax law requires.

You do not have to wait for that: ask me to delete your data and I will do it.

8. Your rights

You can ask me to: give you a copy of what I hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict what I do with it; hand it to you in a portable form; stop processing it; or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent does not make the processing before the withdrawal unlawful.

To use any of these, write to [email protected] in English or Russian. I answer within one month. There is no form to fill in and no fee.

If you are in the EU, the UK or another country with a data protection authority, you also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority of your own country. You do not need to go through me first.

9. Children

This site is addressed to adults working on their own projects. I do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

If this notice changes, the version and date at the top change with it, and the previous version stays in the site's git history. The version you agreed to is recorded with your request, so it stays clear what you were told at the time.
